I am passionate about design, design thinking, and problem solving.
I have a BFA and have been working in apparel design all over the country for the last 12 years. I have designed everything from outrageous mens underwear to functional technical wear for professional athletes climbing Mt. Everest.
The apparel industry has taught me so much about what possibilities are out there. Everything is constantly evolving with trends and innovation. My background of research, creativity, and design evolution has made me excited to learn about other aspects of design thinking. I love visual arts but after working for a long time in larger cities on apparel I decided I needed to use my mind in a different way. I missed learning every day at work and wanted dive deep into something else. So, I came to Boulder for a UX Bootcamp.
Designing beautiful and meaningful experiences and products is my passion. I am looking to learn a lot from users and mentors and the community that I am now in, and I am excited to use my design skills in a new way.
